Once more like import-export brokers, these companies have become the Japanese equivalent of Berkshire Hathaway. They hold big investments in companies across the economy from logistics to real estate, aerospace, EV and renewable energy. These companies have literally thousands of subsidiaries and companies, giving them a unique insight into the overall economy. And that fits well with Berkshire’s strategy owing investments across utilities, railroad, financials and insurance.

And more than just Japan, there’s reason to believe that the entire Asian region could produce a standout return versus US and EU stocks over the next year. Inflation in the region is lower and economic growth expected to be higher. Central banks in the region will be able to cut rates and boost stocks. I know most investors aren't interested in foreign stocks but this could be the best investment you make all year!

  1. My Vanguard account keeps recommending that I consider allocating 35% to 55% to foreign stocks 🤔. These ETFs may round out my portfolio 🧐. Thanks for the info.

    1. Lately I’ve been thinking of buying stocks for retirement, I’ve set-asides a certain amount of capital to invest but along the line, I usually get cold feet, maybe because I have no idea what I’m doing, please I could use some guidelines.

    2. One of the best things I ever did was hire a financial advisor that I trusted. Not just for the understanding of what to do with my money, but having the financial coaching to help me get out of my own way when it cam e to financial fear and emotional back and forth. I would jump from one hot topic to the next, but a professional was able to help me silence all the BS Hype… and build a real strategy for my financial future. Hope that helps Andrew

    1. Motley Fool introduced me to a few Chinese stocks, but Louis Navallier had them in this algorythmic thing that was a total disaster for me. Part of this is because most of the Chinese stocks that he recommended really nose-dived a few weeks later, as well as TRIB, & a few others. VIPS has held up the best, so far. It’s still above my buy price, which puts it in the top 1% of my stocks.
I’ve been really wanting to invest in Samsung, because I love my Samsung phones, so that Korean ETF sounds great!

Just if you ever imagine you might do an Apple video:
If you ever want to explain why some people prefer Apple to Samsung, I’d be interested. My husband has a Motorola, which is okay, except I think it blinks out a lot, & doesn’t always page back ( just goes to the 1st page). It’s also MUCH heavier, which sounds like no big deal, but actually is. I have a problem with lots of music, so Apple Music isn’t a plus. There’s Amazon Music, anyway, right? I read that Samsung has a better screen, & I was just wondering what it is that people prefer with Apple, except that I found out my 2nd Samsung needs to be unlocked by ATT, to use another provider, & Apple phones come unlocked. I was wondering if the “locked” part might have to do with a security feature that ATT provides, because it’s not American, but then, Apple is built in China, too, right?

I prefer the price of EWJV to EWJ, but I guess the Japanese EWJV value stocks aren’t the growth stocks? Do you think EWJ is better than EWJV? (If you do another video on these, maybe you could let us know, if you have time).

I keep hearing that India is where we should be investing, & was wondering what you might think about that.

  2. This is a great video ,I learn a lot watching your videos and it has been helpful to me. Building a steady income is quite difficult for newbies…Thanks to Mrs. Maria Elena Vergara for improving my portfolio. Keep up with the good videos.

    1. Wow, amazing to see others trading with Ms.Maria Elena Vergara, I am currently on my 5th trade with her and my portfolio has grown tremendously.

    2. l also invest with mrs Maria Elena Vergara, she charges a 20% commission on the profit made after each trading session, which is fair compared to the effort she put in to make huge profits.

    3. This is not the first time I am hearing of Mrs.Maria Elena Vergara and her exploits in the trading world but I have no idea how to reach her..

    4. This is not the first time I am hearing of Mrs.Maria Elena Vergara and her exploits in the trading world but I have no idea how to reach her..

    5. My first investment in mrs. Maria Elena Vergara gave me the confidence that led me to invest without fear of loss. I have already taken 3 of my friends to their guide and they are fine.

  3. Money is not meant to control people, rather it is meant to be put to work producing more money for you. You cannot build wealth without putting money in its rightful place.

    1. Now with the recent economy, To get Financial FREEDOM you have to be making money while you’re asleep.

    2. My first profit grew rapidly and that has made me invest without the fear of losing, I got four of my friends that I introduce to him and they are making profits just like me..

  4. Ive been trading japanese stocks for years, they are currently expencive because of the buffet boom, wait a year i think

  5. My concern with Japan and South Korea is their population decline. Eventually there won’t be enough people to operate the businesses and both countries are adamantly anti immigration.
