  2. So to get this straight. If CPI is high it means that inflation will rise to reflect that, so interest will rise which means that the power of the currency goes down in order to restabilise de economy. Does that mean that if CPI is low, the power of the currency will rise to motivate people to spend more and thus also stabilise the economy? Am I missing something?
