The purpose of this book is to teach novices how to invest and trade based on the concept of the “Market Regime”, and how to avoid most of the mistakes one makes in learning a new skill. This is a nuts-and-bolts book to give beginners the confidence to manage their investments and trades. It includes the parameters for my scans, for the chart styles I find most useful, for determining the “Market Regime”(the state of the market), for determining market bottoms, and for entering and exiting trades.
As I say in the book, there are not many things in life one can know for certain, but there is one thing I know for certain, and that is if I had the information available in this book when I started investing and trading 50 years ago, I would be wealthier than I am today, and would have avoided most of the mistakes I made in learning how to invest and trade.
